As summer takes its final breath and we start moving deeper into autumn, it is the perfect time to start thinking about activities to do this fall. Luckily for us, as the season changes the Hamburg area offers lots of activities to make the perfect fall bucket list.
There are many activities to choose from: scenic pictures in the park or along the Schuylkill River with the changing leaves, going to a corn maze with friends, or just visiting a local pumpkin patch or apple orchard.
Mr. Wessner, who was most recently the long term sub for Mrs. Benveneto, plans to go to some fall events in Hamburg and he does not even live here. Wessner shared some of the items on his bucket list including taking a nice hike to the Pinnacle, visiting the Lucky Leprechaun Winery, attending Community Paint Day on October 11 (State Street Square Stage), and of course stopping at Hamburg’s very own Cabelas and getting some new fall gear.
Noelle Bowen, who has been a Hamburg resident for most of her life is always excited when fall rolls around. Bowen always tries to catch the annual King Frost parade (October 25), but her fall bucket list does not end there. Bowen is also looking forward to Halloween activities, including trick or treating with friends and going to the Hamburg Strand to watch classic Halloween movies. All fall Bowen can be seen out of the house with friends enjoying the beauty of fall and the last of the warm weather.
There are also many fall craft fairs, trunk-or-treats, and 5k runs to participate in this time of year. The Hamburg area offers so many items to add to a fall bucket list, but remember the first step is getting out of the house and going outside.
