With Halloween right around the corner, many Halloween movies are surfacing once again. People all around have a favorite movie, whether it be scary or funny, and two high school students have come to share their opinions about their favorite movies.
AnnaMarie Karasek, a Hamburg Area High School senior, really does not like horror movies and prefers comedy over scary, which is why her favorite Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus. She watches it every year, multiple times a year with her family, as it is tradition in her household. AnnaMarie definitely recommends this to people who have yet to watch Hocus Pocus and who hate scary movies just like her.
Riley Mohn, who is also a senior at Hamburg Area High School, also says her favorite movie is Hocus Pocus, what a coincidence. She loves witches and older, more classic movies like Hocus Pocus. Both AnnaMarie’s and Riley’s families are very similar, especially since she also has a tradition where she watches the movie every year, though not as many times as AnnaMarie does.
