Powder Puff season is back at Hamburg Area High School on October 1 at 7:30! The Seniors and Juniors went head to head in an intense flag football game with some tough offense, and even tougher defense. Although the game was hard, the Juniors swept the field with a score board of 0-35. However school does not matter, because what is a competition if it is enjoyable. Some girls became more exposed to flag football, even collecting an interest for it. They liked it so much that they would do it over again. Over some discussions, some girls like Emma Morlan and Koa Binder said, “I wish we could do this over and over again.” As these two ladies are on the opposing team, it proves having fun is never a competition. Kaylea Detweiler said, “I would honestly apply myself to practices and tournaments with other schools for powder puff. Maybe an expansion to the event is near.”
When conversation formed powder puff was looked at to be filled with drama, however practices went smoothly and efficiently. Juniors held a minimum of two to three practices through the week, as seniors held three practices. In the end everything paid off, and all the hard work that each class gave was projected.
