High school World Cultures teacher Mr. McBreen moved up to assistant coach for high school boys basketball. He started coaching basketball because he has played this sport all his life and looked up to a lot of coaches and wanted to be just like them. Coach McBreen previously coached middle school girls basketball for four seasons, and his favorite memory coaching them was when they made it to the championship game in 2023, but he also enjoys seeing more and more people who want to come out and play basketball. With moving up to high school comes a little more responsibility, but he hopes to be the best that he can be. His goals this year are to best acclimate himself to the new program and get to know the new position as much as he can. He is looking forward to a change in pace and new relationships.
Head Athletic Director Mr. Menapace is excited to have Coach McBreen on the team. He believes that he will bring energy and knowledge to the team because he has outstanding connections with the students in the high school. He is also great with communication in making sure they understand the plays and what is going on as well as teaching them accurate and effective plays.
In conclusion Coach McBreen would like to thank Coach Bentz for this amazing opportunity and is looking forward to a great season.
