Over the summer, Mrs. Trubilla was busy being a dance mom and driving her daughter Charlotte to different activities. She spent a lot of time taking her to swim meets and dance practices, which kept her schedule full. Even though she was busy, she still made time to relax and read. One of her favorite parts of the summer was going to Ocean City Beach. She said the best thing to do there is just lay on the sand all day, read books, and soak up the sun. Mrs. Trubilla especially enjoyed reading the Throne of Glass series, which she says she loves. Reading was a big part of her summer, and it helped her relax during her free time. Being at the beach and reading gave her a break from her busy schedule. After having time to recharge, she felt refreshed and ready to come back to school. Now she is excited to meet her new students and start the school year.
Over the summer, Mr. Meyers spent a lot of time with his family. He went to Sea Isle City and had fun at the beach. The biggest part of his summer was going on a Disney cruise. He said it felt like a dream and was full of magic every day. His two daughters loved it, and he thinks they are the perfect age to enjoy everything on the ship. At home, he worked a lot in his garden. He grew potatoes, beans, tomatoes, cabbages, and herbs. Even though he felt like summer went by too fast, he was happy he made good memories. Now that school is back, he is excited to meet his new students. He feels ready to start the year after having such a fun summer.
