Hershey Park’s Dark Nights has returned! It ends on November 2, 2025.
They are featuring five haunted houses and four scare zones. The fun thing about Hershey’s haunted houses is they all have their own stories behind them like the all new Kill ‘N Fill Garage where people can enter the grease-stained mechanics bay, squeeze through the shadowy back office, weave around twisted wreckage in the body shop, escape the claustrophobia of the storeroom, and walk through the blood-slicked car wash. Estate of Evil is like a murder mystery with 13 rooms and a newly added sauna to the house. Auntie Mortem’s Abattoir where the Mortem family just added a packing room to the tour. Her nephew is stepping up his game, and his twisted cousin is on hand to keep the family business running no matter what (or who) comes through the door. The Haunted Coal Mine is where people can head down into the suffocating darkness of the mines, where time slows down, and the air runs thin. Down there, not everything that breathes is human. Lastly, the Twisted Carnival where people can step right up, the carnival is abuzz with new acts. All of the performers leave more than a mark; they leave a permanent impression.
All new for 2025 is the scare zone Path Of The Shadows: Coven’s Curse, where it is long hidden from sight, the Path Of Shadows has opened, and three mysterious witches have emerged. Where something wicked is brewing, or run the risk of becoming the next victim of the Coven Curse. In addition there is Darkstone’s Hollow: After a brutal battle, Professor Darkstone stands victorious, his mythical menagerie broken and caged. The creatures are under Darkstone’s command for now, but people can feel the danger in the air. Then there is the Midway Of Misery where people have to beware, in between the flamed arches and amongst the thick fog, creatures may appear when people least expect it. The Midway Of Mystery is also known for its sliders that roam around and slide right in front of people when they are barely paying attention. Lastly there is the Fallout Zone where the green fog is back, and radiation is spreading. Chaos is rising, and the real threat is not the fallout; it is the aftermath.
Abby Himmelburger who had just been there recently says “It is a great experience I would definitely go again.” She also said “Hershey is a great place to spend a person’s spooky season and it is also kid friendly or just for people who are not interested in the scary stuff.”
If you do not like the haunt do not worry, there are some kid friendly attractions at Hershey too! Like Avenue Of The Afterlife where people can trick or treat with 14 stops including some at Chocolate World and it is open until 8:30. As well as the Creatures Of The Night flashlight tour celebrating its 45th anniversary at ZooAmerica. Additionally there is a show at the Chevrolet Music Box Theatre called the Shake, Rattle and Glow: Monster Ball and people can see show times in the park or on the website.
