Megan Fry is a freshman at Hamburg Area High School. Her hobbies include playing softball, mowing the lawn, going on walks, and being with nature. Megan’s favorite memory from school is grade 7 because of her teachers Mrs Rizzo, Mr Krammes, and Mrs Cornell. Mrs Rizzo taught Megan’s ELA and Social Studies class while Mr Krammes taught science and Mrs Cornell taught math.
When she graduates high school, Megan wants to be a nurse and go into the military to make an impact on the country. She says “I want to help people in all the ways I can.”
Megan has been in Hamburg since Kindergarten with her best friend Abigail Himmelburger. Megan said “It is nice to know I always have Abby there for me.” Megan states Abby and her grew a close connection with each other from knowing Abby for almost her whole life and she appreciates it.
One of the quotes Megan uses to get by is “Die with memories, not dreams.” She says this pushes her harder to achieve her dreams so she can have great memories to tell and have no regrets during her time here at Hamburg.
Cheyenne Kline, who is Megan’s friend, said “Megan is a very unpredictable person, I never know what she is going to do or say next!” Cheyenne says Megan is a very outgoing person and sometimes very loud. She has been playing softball with Megan since grade 6 and they are throwing partners. Megan played basketball in all her years of middle school at the position post.
Megan’s dream is to visit Africa with her family. She wants to visit Africa because she loves the idea of their culture and how beautiful the land is in Africa. She also wants to hunt there with her brothers, Andrew and Brandon, and her dad for family bonding time. Her main goal there is to see a wild pig because she has trained pigs at home and would love to see the difference between them.
Megan is an aunt to two nephews Hunter who is three and Hundson who is almost a year old. She likes to play with her nephews every chance she gets, teaching them new trends and getting them clothing that will make them have style!
