The wellness teachers are arranging the annual Leaser Lake trip on September 16. While the students got to pick their activities for the day, the wellness teachers are trying to get past the permission slips and the preparation for the alternate activity. These teachers are so excited that it gets them through the weeks coming up to the Leaser Lake trip. The water is where their minds are at.
The Leaser Lake trip originated in 2017 by Ms. Kelly in the wellness department. The trip was a way to get senior students in more activities and allow them to be more social and physical during this trip. It is also a perfect way to avoid school-work and just have fun at the lake. There are many activities that are being done on September 16. There is fly fishing, hiking, padding-boarding and more.
To go along with the memories of snack-making, the teachers are excited to announce a brand new activity, Geocaching, a scavenger hunt game. This game will be organized by Mr. Laughlin. In this game, students use devices to track down objects and use those clues to find other objects in order to win. The game will be a fun new addition to the day of wellness.
