The junior and senior prom will be held on May 16, 2025. Students are looking forward to this event, since it is normally the year’s highlight. The prom committee is planning this wonderful dance, and the theme is enchanted garden. The day of the prom, everyone attending gets out of school early to have time to get ready, take photos, and even attend appointments. At this event, there will be food, dancing, and lots of pretty decorations.
The dance starts at 6:00, and the tickets were 70 dollars. Purchasing tickets gets one entry into the Wherehouse, as well as dinner. The menu consists of meat options, as well as vegetarian options. There is also salad available.
Zach Spatz, a junior at Hamburg Area High School, is excited for prom. He has already got his suit, his shoes, and his hat. He bought tickets for himself and his girlfriend. Zach says, “I requested off work for prom, and I have an open calendar that day. I’m planning on getting ready and then meeting up with my girlfriend Gracie to take photos.” This is Zach’s first time attending prom, and he says he can not wait for the special evening.
Madeline Handwerk, another junior who is also on the prom committee, is also super excited for prom. Maddie has already gotten her dress and heels, and she also has her friend who is going to do her nails and help with her hair on the day of the prom. Maddie says, “I’m super excited for prom! I think it is going to be a really special night, especially since I get to spend it with my closest friends and my boyfriend.” On May 16, Maddie plans to go help set up for prom, and then go home and get ready. She will then be taking photos with her boyfriend and her friends.
