The end of the school year is fastly approaching, and it will soon be time to be on summer break. The last day of school is June 5 and it is a half day. The last day will be here before we all know it. Students can not wait for the last day to come. Many freshman students are looking forward to having time off from school. They are all also very excited to get to go on summer vacations. Some freshman students are going on trips around the states, and some are going on international trips. Summer vacations are meant for students to relax and enjoy time with friends and family.
“I am going to Costa Rica this summer,” said Ana Smith. Costa Rica is a very popular vacation spot because of its natural beauty. Ana is one of three freshman students who are going on an out of country vacation. The other two students that are going on international trips are Matthew Gring and Thomas Johnson. Matthew is going to Canada as well as West Virginia twice and Florida. Thomas is going to Europe where he will visit Germany, Paris, Italy, and family.
“I am going to Montana, Florida, Missouri, and Indianna,” said freshman Charlotte Fiscus. Charlotte is very excited for summer break. Another freshman student that is going on a very fun vacation is Graylea Knight. “I am going on a RV trip around the country to visit six National Parks; including Mount Rushmore and Redwood National and State Park,” said Graylea. She is also going to Seattle to visit family. Kaleigh Phillips is visiting Virginia and Maryland this summer. Other freshmen who are going on vacation this summer include myself, Carson Reppert, Greta Fink, Ali Wertz, and Ava Thorne.
