On February 14, the students at Hamburg Area High School shared Valentine’s Day gifts and festivities with each other and their families.
The most popular gifts the girls received were flowers, cards, chocolates, and Jellycats which are stuffed animals. The boys received cards, chocolates, and personalized gifts which coordinated with a sport or hobby.
Many of the students did not have a Valentine to experience the holiday with, but they did have their family. Many parents give valentines to their children and it makes the holiday special.
Jordan Cunkle celebrates her birthday on Valentine’s Day so she received a large amount of gifts. Jordan reported, “I got a lot of Hello Kitty themed gifts and a ten dollar Roblox gift card from Landon Poulios.”
Kaitlyn Gallagher shared, “I got Reese’s peanut butter cups.”
