Mrs. Argot grew up in Pittston in the north east corner of PA. During high school Mrs. Argot dreamt of being a teacher and helping kids one day. Her Aunt who was a Special ed teacher inspired her to pursue this career path. This led her to getting into Penn State University where she got to experience a number of different fun activities while getting trained to be a teacher. Penn State offered a variety of unique wellness courses for her to choose from, and she ended up taking archery, ice skating, and Tang Soo Do. She went on to keep practicing this after graduating and got a black belt.
In 1991 she achieved her goal of being a teacher. Mrs. Argot has always taught mathematics but she varied from many subjects. This year Mrs. Argot teaches grades 9-11 and subjects Algebra 1A, Algebra 1, and 11th Grade Geometry. Besides those in the past she has taught Algebra 2, Algebra 3, Trig, Probability and Statistics, and Consumer math.
Other than teaching math Mrs. Argot claims that her life is very chill. She likes to spice up her home life by participating in her hobbies gardening, traveling, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
She has traveled to a number of places, the most unique being Bermuda Beach along with Canada and Mexico. While she really enjoys her hobbies, she also enjoys spending time with her family, mostly her husband.
Mrs. Argot started dating her husband 30 years ago and married him. Two years later they made it official and have been in love since. Now they like to spend time together watching the sun set and rise each day.
As for her other family, Mrs. Argot has a son, 25 and a daughter, 23. Her two kids each graduated from HAHS: Tana in 2018 and Chris in 2016. Chris attended BCTC and went on to graduate from RACC in 2018. Tana went on to pursue environmental science and graduate from Mansfield in 2022
Mrs. Argot is happy with the life she has today and says she would not have changed anything if she had the chance.
