Reading’s Christmas on the Mountain is a free-to-enter holiday display featuring over a million Christmas lights, inflatables, live characters, and a beautiful replica of Santa’s workshop. There are Santa pictures available, but other than that everything else is free. Around the Reading Hillside Playground there are hundreds of heaters to take a stop at, along with characters including The Grinch, Mickey Mouse, The Frozen cast, and so many more.
I had a wonderful time attending this winter wonderland, as there was not a moment of boredom. Everything was so amazing to see and enjoyable. I got distracted from the cold weather.Senior Asceniah Pinter says, “I was so cold during the whole walk, but I would most definitely say it was worth it.”
Fredy Ramirez said, “This is a great place to bring your family and friends.” Overall the Reading’s Christmas on the Mountain was a great experience to kick off the cold December month to get everyone in a Christmas mood. We can thank the Reading High School Marine Corps (JROTC) for continuing to set this up for their 32nd year.
