Since Thanksgiving break has ended many students begin their festivities for winter.
Junior Bethany Stufflet and her family start decorating after Thanksgiving around the start of December. They put up a tree and other decorations around their house. For some activities during winter, she either shovels or plays in the snow as a nice outdoor activity. Along with activities, her family tries to see holiday lights at Christmas Village and have matching PJs. If she could start something new, it would be to have a sleepover with all of her friends for Christmas and then open their presents for each other together.
Sophomore Molly Fox and her family start decorating right after Halloween as they are busy for the holidays between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Along with that, they all have a white elephant party at Christmas, decorate gingerbread houses for a competition, and they make Christmas tea. With all of those activities, Molly would consider her family a “Hallmark Family.” One thing that Molly would want to do this year is go to New York to watch the Rockettes.
Many students activities tend to fall around Christmas for those who celebrate and involve their family.
