Landon Poulios is a sophomore at Hamburg Area High School. He is well known around the school for his many activities such as GSA, Tv Studio, Drama Club where he is secretary, and Tri- M. Landon also participates in our school choir where he is treasurer. This fall Landon is taking on a huge role of becoming the Tinman in Hamburg’s fall musical. Landon explained that taking on the Tin Man role has been challenging. Landon explained, “I’m worried and slowly losing my sanity, however in the end it will be worth it.”
After high school Landon plans to attend a four year university. Landon explained, “I know for sure I want to go to college for something science related. I am not sure what kind exactly.” Landon has many fun memories here in Hamburg, he mentioned some of his favorite times were being “Spookley” The Square Pumpkin for a little play. He also mentioned that one of his favorite highlights in middle school was when he graduated, and he got recognized for all of his achievements and accomplishments. Landon explained that his favorite moments from here at Hamburg Area High School had to have been his freshman year.
Havana Strunk, a sophomore at Hamburg, has known Landon since elementary school. They both met through mutual friends. Havana explains that Landon is overall a very good friend, a very fun person to be around, and she enjoys having classes with him. Havana’s favorite memory with Landon would be when they were second grade, that is when they met. She explained, “We met in second grade when he came up to me. He said something that made me yell at him and he got in trouble.”
