Between all forms of entertainment formed, since 1888 we have looked upon movies. Following that, the first movie to be streamed in theaters was in 1895. Ever since then we have looked at movies for entertainment, research, and much more.
A fellow sophomore Adam Epting says his favorite movie is The Godfather made in 1972. The Godfather genre is a mob drama that revolves around crime that emphasizes stereotypes about Italian Americans. As some may not have heard of this movie, it does appear very popular. It is a sophisticated story that projects greed and loyalty in families. The story goal of “The Godfather” is for the Corleone family to reclaim their place of power and find a new “Godfather” to maintain this status. Adam was influenced by the people around him, as they explain the movie was really good. Adam says when he watches this movie it makes him “feel pure ecstasy.”
Another student Dominic Buono says his favorite movie is Gremlins because “I like the story line.” He says that Gremlins is a Christmas horror story that is “thrilling and exciting.” Between the two students a favorite genre would be horror and suspense. This is a trend throughout most teenagers.
