Madison Redding – 12
Clarence Gottschall IV is a senior at Hamburg Area High School. He is known for being a good friend and student. He is currently taking one AP class with Ms. Mennig which is AP government. However, his favorite class is physics with Mr. Brown. He explained, “It’s a great enthusiastic environment and the teaching of implemented usage of physics in my life.”
After high school, Clarence plans to attend a trade school to earn a degree in electrical technology. He is even interested in going to Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, here in PA. Clarence explained he is scared to graduate but excited to get it over with.
In his free time, Clarence likes to play video games, watch Netflix movies, and hang out with his friends and girlfriend. His hobbies include playing guitar, gardening, and landscaping. Clarence lives in Hamburg with his dad and stepmom where they have two cats, Tiger and Onyx. His dog is named Shelby and in Clarence’s words “BIG miniature pig named Petunia.” While being a student Clarence also works as a cook at the local restaurant, the Westy Bar and Grill. Clarence explained like most places it has its ups and downs but overall he enjoys working there.
Skylynn Binder senior, is close friends with Clarence. They have known each other since her sophomore year. Skylynn says, “Clarence has very interesting music taste and is overall a good friend.” Skylynn enjoys it when Clarence comes over to her boyfriend’s house. They all hang out and watch movies together.
