Fall has officially started and the students cannot wait to share their opinions. Fall started on September 22, the leaves have already begun to change, and the weather has gotten colder. The students at Hamburg Area High School have been waiting for the heat of summer to end and a cool breeze to greet them in the morning.
Many students enjoy the vibe that fall brings. It reminds them of home and a warm hug. Landon Poulios, a sophomore at Hamburg Area High School, says, “I love how pretty the leaves are and that’s it’s not super cold but cold enough to wear a sweatshirt.” The multi-colored leaves are a wonderful sight to see especially in the state of Pennsylvania due to the large amount of forests.
Unfortunately not everything is perfect so the students were asked to say what they disliked about fall. The most common response was how cold the weather is and how unpredictable the weather throughout the day is. Brielle Cox, another sophomore at Hamburg area High School, says, “The mornings are always colder than when we get out of school, so it makes getting dressed more difficult.”
