As autumn begins to sneak up on us, the Student Council at Hamburg Area High School has decided to change things up this year for the Fall Pep Rally. Instead of a typical pep rally, this year STUCO has decided to have a mini Fall Festival. Kaylum Riegel, a sophomore and member of STUCO, says that the reason they decided to do this instead of a pep rally is because they think it will be more fun and that the student body will enjoy it more. He is extremely happy with this change and looks forward to it.
The Fall Festival takes place on Friday September 20, from 12:45 to 2:15, creating an event similar to May Day. Classes will be shortened due to this Fall Fest and the event will be held on Hawk Hill, at the football stadium. This event welcomes clubs from our school to join in on making the event as fun as possible. Clubs will be selling snacks, beverages, and providing fun games for students to play. Overall, it is something new and exciting for the students to participate in this year.
