A senior trip is a commemoration and celebration of all the student’s years of school, achievements, and memories made. The HAHS class of 2024 chose to go to the Baltimore Harbor on May 15. Isabella Morales, the class of 2024 president, and the rest of the class officers chose this destination because their adviser, Mrs. McCarthy had mentioned a trip that was previously held there. Isabella mentioned that planning the trip involved “a lot of communication with Dr. Beissel and working out details.” Such details as transportation, dates, and permission slips.
Seniors going on the trip report they are most excited about a free day out of school with their friends and plan to visit museums, the aquarium, and some restaurants. The Baltimore Orioles play on May 15, and Mrs McCarthy, Mr. Wright, and Dr. Beissel all booked tickets to watch, in addition to many students.
Some seniors believe this trip to be a symbol of the end of high school, while others remake it as “[not] super monumental.” Whatever they believe, if they are going on the trip Isabella Morales wants everyone “to show up in order to get their bussing deposit and stay together with [their] group!”
