Bethany Stufflet is a sophomore that enjoys reading and writing, although she wants to go into the medical field. She is still considering doing a sort of writing on the side as she really enjoys it. She knows she has a writing gift, especially with poetry. Last year she enjoyed taking Biology with Mrs. Bucheit and Algebra 2 with Mrs. Heckman. On occasion, Bethany also likes her current math class, Geometry with Mrs. Geske. Bethany feels as though sophomore year has gone by rather quickly and she actually enjoyed it so far.
Bethany is currently a Hawk Happenings assistant editor which means she writes articles just like everyone else in publications, however she gets to post the articles to the website, and she edits the paper layout for the newspaper. She enjoys that publications can be considered a class where one can work at their own pace. Having the class allows her to not only have her work done for publications, but once she finishes her work for publications, she can also use the period as a study hall and she can do work for other classes or just hangout in the library. In her opinion there are not any cons to taking publications as long as one can keep up with assignments.
She does enjoy doing the senior memory pages for the yearbook as she gets to look back on the lives of the seniors before they go off to college. She also likes the idea of reflecting on high school as a senior and being able to have a dedicated page to refer to in the future.
