Audio Technology club replaces Acoustic Guitar Club
November 2, 2022
Audio Technology club is a club that covers many things including Guitar and Ukulele lessons, podcasting, digital music, and a media conversion center.
The digital music part of the club will cover making radio commercials, and jingles that could possibly be featured over the radio at some point.
The media conversion center will try and figure out a way to transfer VHS tapes to DVDs and cassette tapes to CDs.
The Acoustic Guitar club gave students the chance to learn to practice the guitar.
Mr. Laughlin hosted both of these clubs. He has been a teacher at Hamburg for four years as an integrated science and chemistry teacher.
The Acoustic Guitar club expanded rather than becoming replaced. Instead of just learning the guitar, other instruments and music activities were added.
Audio Technology club attendee Torin Miller has gotten to experience this club once already on a club day. He has not gotten to try any of the activities in the club yet, but he guesses that his favorite thing will be either learning the guitar or keyboard.
If students are interested in this club talk to Mr. Laughlin for more information.
