Video Communications class travels on a field trip

On September 8, the Video Communications class took a trip to Kaercher Creek to film footage for future projects. Kaercher Creek is not too far from the school, but it is a good way to take a breath of fresh air. Mrs. Eshbach taught them how to take photos and videos using the outdoors. During the trip, they took photos of flowers, videos of the creek, and they looked at all the trees and leaves. The class walked on the trail towards Bern, and they walked close enough to see the tunnel.

Mrs. Eshbach, the teacher for Video Communications, had them take footage of nature and create videos of the outdoors with the footage they took. Using the footage, they are making horror videos. The students then used their phones or a small-handheld camera to take photos and videos on their trip. Eventually, these videos will air on morning announcements.

Mia Goetz, a freshman in one of Mrs. Eshbach’s classes said the trip only took one class period, which was around 40 minutes, but she said “It felt so long in such a short amount of time.”

Richard Fisher, a student in Mrs. Eshbach’s fifth period class, took footage of the tunnel down in Kaercher Creek.
